In addition to our standard solutions for eye tracking, we offer individual special solutions. We create a concept according to your hardware and software requirements.
In addition, we adapt existing hardware components to your requirements and develop specialized software that optimizes the system for your purpose. We offer software adaptations for the evaluation, analysis, and processing of collected data, including in combination with other biometric devices. Interfaces to your existing infrastructure are also included.
Further fields of application for our special eye-tracking solutions include, for example, classrooms, interaction kiosks, security systems, cloud applications, user experience, and many more.

Success Story: Eye tracker supports driving school project
Within the framework of a driving school project, we were tasked with developing a special remote eye tracker for vehicles or vehicle simulators, recording the collected eye-tracking data in real time on a special PC, and preprocessing the data for later evaluation and analysis.
Before the project Dr. Hornecker Software-Entwicklung and IT-Dienstleistungen conducted a feasibility study in cooperation with the Institute for the development of cognition IfW • Institut für Wahrnehmungsforschung GmbH.
The purpose was to explore the use of remote and mobile eye trackers and several types of cameras, determine whether several cameras and eye trackers could be used simultaneously, and optimize calibration and pattern recognition.
The eye tracker must be adapted for use in off-road vehicles with a stable aluminum housing, which enables the eye tracker to function and transfer data to the special PC. To record the driver's entire field of view, it was necessary to use several eye trackers and cameras to record the environment.
The recorded eye-tracking data are transferred to the special PC for vehicles via a USB connection. In addition to eye-tracking data, the special PC also records further parameters, such as GPS signals and travel videos. In this project, an additional option was developed to mark dangerous situations by keystroke for later error analysis.
In our project, we used a Fanless Touch HMI Panel_PC by Delta Components as the special PC. Our client was impressed by the easy handling of the panel PC despite the complex requirements.
Success Story: Neuro-economic study on the basis of Eye tracking, EEG and NIRS data
The Laboratory for Behavior and Neuroeconomics at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in Soest conducted a neuro-economic study based on eye-tracking, EEG, and NIRS data. The objective of the study was to better understand human behavior in economic decisions using neuroscientific methods. For this purpose, we supplied the university with a solution for the combined measurement and recording of eye-tracking, EEG, and NIRS data.
